The Learning Zone

Anyone can register for courses in The Learning Zone but to access most of the courses you will need to speak to a Personal Job Adviser, Tutor or other contact at any TNG or InBiz centre throughout the UK.  

If you’re attending a TNG centre and taking part in the Job Activity Coaching (JAC) programme, you’ll be issued with a card to keep a note of your username and password.

  Accessing The Learning Zone

• If you’ve not yet registered, you can do so NOW by clicking on the Register link on the right hand menu.
• On the panel on the right hand side of the screen click on ‘Register’
• This will take you to the registration form to complete your user details.

  Registration is Easy!

IMPORTANT: You only need to complete this registration form ONCE.  If you have already registered please do not try to register a second account as this could cause your previous learning to be deleted.

1. Please ensure you type your LAST NAME then FIRST NAME in this order.  Remember that the names you enter into the Last Name and First Name fields may be the ones that appear on your certificate so take time to ensure that they are correct and that words start with a capital letter.
2. You will need to enter an email address to allow the Learning Zone system to get in touch. If you do not have one, please consult your Personal Job Adviser, Tutor or your staff contact at TNG or InBiz.
3. Enter the name of the TNG or InBiz Centre you attend (for example Enfield or Portsmouth) and any reference number you may have been given.
4. Select a Username. It’s best to select one that you will remember easily like your initial followed by your last name. For example Joe Bloggs would be jbloggs. The system is ‘case sensitive’ so usernames are best entered all in lower case letters.
5. Finally select your own password. Use something that is easy for you to remember but try to make it at least six letters and/or numbers long for security.
6. You can change the settings at any time by clicking on ‘My Profile’ from the Learning Zone menu.
7. A telephone number is optional. We will always email you in the first instance if we need to make contact.
8. Click ‘Register’ – This will take you to a page of instructions.

  Subscribing to ‘Open’ Courses

• To work through many of the courses in The Learning Zone, you’ll need to be ‘subscribed’ to them.  Some courses are open to all and it’s easy to subscribe to them yourself:
• Once you are logged in, return to the home page by clicking on the ‘Home’ tab in the top left hand corner of the screen.
• Click on ‘Manage my Courses’ and then on ‘Subscribe to Courses.
• Select a category and from the list that appears click on any ‘Subscribe’ links

  Lost Passwords

If you forget your username or password, click on the ‘Lost Password’ link on the right hand menu.  If your registration was set up for you by TNG or InBiz staff using THEIR email address, enter only the USERNAME and your password will be sent to them. If you registered yourself, you can enter EITHER the USERNAME or PASSWORD and the password will be sent to the email address you used when registering.
