Courses in The Learning Zone come from a number of different sources and producers. Most of the materials come as flexible bite-sized episodes of learning. They're designed using a wide range of approaches giving you a chance to practice and absorb knowledge.
You find various methods of assessing your progress. This may be in the form on games and exercises or perhaps a short test at the end. To see how you're doing click on the 'My Progress' tab from the menu bar at the top of the page.
What subjects are covered?
The one thousand plus modules are arranged into around 25 categories. There are two ways you can find out information about courses:

After logging in to The Learning Zone click on 'Manage my Courses' and then 'Subscribe to Courses' and 'Categories'. In the list displayed just click on the information icon for details of the course.

If you want to perform a more intensive search, visit the AskJAC site at www.askjac.com and enter The Learning Zone Directory.
Accessibility
Accessibility options are available on many of the materials. All the materials have been tested for accessibility at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford.
